When on the Hume hwy

We decided to go on a weekend away up northern Victoria. I looked up if there were any burger joints worth visiting.

In a little town of Glenrowan, known for it's Ned Kelly history, a place called Ned's Burgers House came up. Known for its great burgers and souvlaki.

So we decided to do the stop. It was certainly worth the stop. Don't get me wrong, the best burgers I've eaten are fancy and more towards the gourmet side of things.

This burger is where burgers began. It is your typical fish and chips / milk bar type of burger which is done to perfection.

I ordered the burger with the lot at 9.50 each. Egg, bacon, lettuce, caramelized onions, tomato, beetroot etc. hubby ordered his with no egg, extra bacon and with cheese.

It's exactly what you want in a burger with the lot. The owners were lovely and offered great service.

It was indeed a satisfying burger. It was well worth the stop on the way to our destination.
