After a few years of burger hunting, I have two top contenders for the best burger in Melbourne. It will probably be no surprise to avid burger eaters. They really do hit the spot and are consistent every time.
Tuck Shop Take Away are amazing at what they do and one of the best parts is being in the suburbs. This place can get amazingly busy, but it's worth the wait. The burger menu is limited, but they excel in what they do. The chips are also amazing. I haven't tried their milk shakes or their soft serves (due to dietary restrictions) but I hear they are to die for.

Grand Trailer Park Taverna was the best thing to come from
Dandenong Pavilion. I suppose it's a good thing that they aren't close to home. We had family from interstate and overseas staying with us prior to our wedding. As they were all avid fans of my burger adventure, they were keen to try this place out in December with us. My mother in law had claimed to have never eaten a burger in her life. I changed that and she was impressed with how good it tastes.
